Wednesday Redstone League

Update from Redstone (January 28, 2021): Currently the Redstone Arsenal Golfcourse is NOT allowing league play, but if this restriction is lifted would you be interested in league play there? We begin on the first Wednesday in April. I will make every effort to get our league teed off before the other leagues, and if both 18 hole tracks are open we should not have any delays or slow play. We play 9 holes and we use the modified stableford scoring system. Weekly golf prizes for best score and fewest putts are awarded. See the attached league rules.

The Wednesday Redstone League plays every Wednesday on the Redstone Arsenal starting at 4:pm, April thru October. The course will select the 9 hole course to be played each week. The league starts on the first Tuesday of April and the format is individual play using the modified Stableford scoring system over 9-holes. We tee off at 4pm but this is flexible as long as you turn your scores into the blue BEGA box in the clubhouse.

We play for 27 weeks (broken into 3 sessions) and there are lots of prizes. We hold a season ending tournament in October, where more prizes and a trophy are awarded. The league champion will then compete for the overall BEGA Championship.

Come join us, there are 4 9-hole courses and they are the best in the Huntsville area!! We can arrange for a car pass and photo ID for you thru the Army’s MWR to get you on the Arsenal in a hurry.
